#7 Uncertain Times Suggestions for Leaders

When things get stressful or if you have a stressful job, it is important to do what you know is important to you. We all need certain things. I just realized Sunday that I have not touched another human being in over a week! Being single while this pandemic is here could cause stress to many just by not having the human touch that is so vital. I’ll be hugging and shaking pretty soon though!! Either way, it is important to know what you need. I know a family gathering with siblings, etc. is important to me about 1-2 times a year. Going on a small family trip once a year with my children and grandchildren is so important and meaningful to me. To facetime or see my grandkids once every week or so is vital. What keeps you centered when things are stressful or busy? I know preparing work on Mondays and not booking anything pertaining to work helps me have a week of ease, grace and flow. Stretching and Pilates every morning for a few minutes, prayer and contemplation too, plus walking/biking at least 3 days a week keeps me energetic and thinking clear. What is your recipe for staying centered? Figure it out and stick to it. Remember it will change as time goes on. Prioritize and take care of YOU!!
